The Concept of Zero FIR

The concept of Zero FIR is a free jurisdiction FIR. A Zero FIR can be filed in any police station by the victim, irrespective of their residence or crime place. Even if you are away from the place of incident or are unaware of the right jurisdiction, you can successfully file an FIR in any police station.

Can a Police Officer deny to register zero FIR?

No Police Officer can deny to register Zero FIR until and unless he/she finds it a petty issues which can be resolved at immediate level.

Deny of the FIR can be illegal to which a police officer can be charged fine or complaint can be filed against him.

The only question is that while filing any FIR or Zero FIR it should be Criminal offence .
Normal Docoty and losing of some non valuable thing(Pity Issues) does not need a FIR or Zero Fir
